From image acquisition to
manufacturing in one step
DirectConnect™ is a new key feature of the Eye Surface Profiler (ESP). With the push of a button, the ESP instantly sends all pertinent information about the lens design to WAVE, increasing the speed and accuracy of fitting a WAVE ScleraLens.
This collaboration with Eaglet Eye is exciting, as the ESP provides 20 mm of real HD data that is verified to produce successful fits with the WAVE ScleraLens®. We see the partnership opening new doors for WAVE and Eaglet Eye as together we move specialty lens fitting to a new level.
EASY WAVE SCLERAL LENS FITTING GUIDE
MAKE A MEASUREMENT
Use the ESP to get a scan of the cornea and the sclera. A single shot image is taken in less than a second and translated into height maps. Remember: a good measurement is key for a successful fit.
SELECT LENS DESIGN
Go to the First Lens Fit tab and select WAVE from the list of over 18 labs.
DIRECT CONNECTION TO WAVE
Click on the DirectConnect button and the complete eye data will be imported into WAVE’s contact lens design software. Use the endless possibilities of the WAVE software to customize and order the lens.
